Strengths
The sports at GCDS were very engaging as well as competitive. I made a lot of new friends from it, and got a lot better at my respective sports.
Areas of improvements
Sometimes I thought the coaches were not the best picks, and did not always like a coach or too, but overall I really enjoyed my athletic experience here.

Hockey was my favorite sport, based on the team dynamic, chemistry, and coach.

Strengths
We learned a lot about real world issues we are having especially in the sustainability department, and in chemistry, biology, and physics we learned all the basics of them.

Sometimes certain topics which were important were skimmed over fast, when they should have been repeated.

My marine biology course, as it was already interesting to me, and we learned about real life issues in todays marine world.

Strengths
It helped me get a base understanding of all topics, whether it was calculus or Econ.
Areas of improvements
There were not many tests at all. When going into to college, courses such as Econ and calculus are mainly exams, so I did not feel as prepared for those.

Strengths
We went very in-depth on some areas, such as the gilded age. I had no prior knowledge of this topic.
Areas of improvements
We did not cover many time periods in my opinion, and only dived into a few.

The course borders and walls was also a history class, so that for the same reason as before.

The book Dante’s inferno was very intriguing to me, as we saw how much different life was back then.

Strengths
It forced you to think for yourself, and come up with your own analysis. It also helped with being able to talk about your analysis, and get your point across effectively.

There were not many assessments, and was mostly all papers.

My borders and walls course, as it tought not only modern history, but also how time periods such as the Middle Ages made an impact.

The Great Gatsby was the most intriguing book to me, as we went very in depth on it, and helped me get a better understanding of it. It was also nice to be able to write about something I actually enjoyed reading.

Strengths
They were with you every step of the way, and helped every kid in the process, without being to intrusive or pesty.

I do not believe there were any. We even had a seminar class dedicated to the common app, which was extremely helpful.

It made me a much more independent person, as well as a better writer and speaker. However, it did not prepare me as much for tests, although I was able to adapt fast.

10th and 11th grade writing. Economics and pre calculus. As well as my psychology course.

They were very caring, and wanted you to have the best possible experience at school. Whether it was socially, academically, or whatever it was, they did their best.

The school was not very strict, and kids were able to get away with a lot.

It was a very engaging school that genuinely cared about each individual and wanted everyone to succeed.

I think it could have been a little more strict, as sometimes you could get away with doing very minimal work.

Is it primarily a project based learning school, which has improved my writing, as well as public speaking ability.

Dr. Jim Cullen, and Dr. Andrew Ruoss were my favorite teachers.

Economics, Sustianability, and Statistics.
