Science Department
Strengths
Science had many sub departments as well including computer science and engineering which many other schools don't offer in full.

There was a lot of work in science classes and it made it very hard to actually learn when you were so busy just preparing for the next test.

Strengths
Horace Mann is relatively stem oriented so our administration cared a lot about the math department.

The teaching styles differed a lot which made it hard to stay on track over the years.

Strengths
History was very well structure and taught very directly which made it easier to retain the important information

It was very test based I thought and it wasn't always clear what the essays were supposed to be on.

The schedule in college I found to be much easier then at Horace Mann.

the students take to the emphasis on academics that the administration pushes very well which makes it easier to succeed.

They gave the students a lot to do to the point were some of the work felt like busy work and it didn't allow a lot of the students do other things.
