Strengths
I think that SLS has one of the strongest communities, due to its smaller size (except for sport games). I found that everyone got along with each other and there were no real problems.
Areas of improvements
Academics and Athletics. Students made no effort to attend athletics games because the sports weren't very good. But more importantly, the academics need to be improved significantly.

How likely are you to recommend St. Luke's School (CT) to a prospective student?

What is the most important thing a prospective student should know?
SLS prioritizes individual progress and performance with small class sizes and teacher-student ratio. I found that this was especially influential in developing my academic skillset throughout High School.
Who was your favorite teacher? Why?
Mr. Murphy/Mr. Kohl/Mr. Brusko. They were the most personal and made it fun to attend class while also skillfully teaching the content. I learned the most in these classes and found myself looking forward to attending them.
What courses would you recommend?
Computer Science courses/designLab. Mr. Brusko teaches very well and I highly recommend (although I do not believe that the curriculum has prepared me for college at all).

Strengths
The community aspect.
Areas of improvements
Needs to be open to change and really take into account students wants and needs in teachers.

How likely are you to recommend St. Luke's School (CT) to a prospective student?

What is the most important thing a prospective student should know?
The most important thing a prospective student should know about SLS is how strong the community is. You get to know everyone in your class and have a special bond with everyone.
Who was your favorite teacher? Why?
It was either Mr. Lebris or Mr. Haynes. Mr. Lebris helped me when I really struggled but Mr.Haynes was a great teacher to have a conversation with outside of class and really elevated my writing.
What courses would you recommend?
I don’t have any.
